Just another manic Monday...
Feeling over-stressed and worn out. Some days I just have to find the joy in the little things, and today was one of those days. Mondays just stink altogether, and considering this was the first full work day following the time change, it was just SUPER STINKY. Yep.
So, here are my two favorite things today. The first is a yummy new snack I found while stopping by the grocery store on my lunch break. I don't usually eat snacks like this, but THEY ARE SO GOOD!
Buffalo. Blue. Cheese. Pretzel. Combos. Tastes just like the real thing. Go get some!
And, I love the packaging on this Voskos yogurt. Why didn't I think of this?! Could have been a millionaire, or at least a thousandaire.
Just bend at the seam, and granola easily pours into your yogurt. So simple, and yet so clever.
Here's to a better tomorrow. At least we are one day closer to Friday.

Good mail day!
So, it's always exciting when you get something good in the mail. Especially, when it seems like all you get are bills and junk. So, I was super super excited to get TWO good things in my mailbox today. My awesome new Square Card Reader, and new supplies for my hair accessories.
The square card reader is AWESOME! It will allow me to accept credit cards on the go, and will be great at craft shows, allowing me to take more than cash. And the best part about it....IT...WAS..FREE!! Great for small businesses.
And here is the Etsy site where I got all of my supplies. Here is just a sampling of what she carries:
Go check her out. Hoping that I can do these types of things with the Silhouette I got for Christmas. Just have to find the time to figure that thing out!

Ojo De Buey...
So a question was posed on The Bakery Spot, and I was excited to try and find an answer. Here is what the message said:
"Whilst traveling through Chicago I purchased a pastry from a Mexican street vendor that was absolutely delicious and quite filling. He said it was called a Bull's Eye or Eye of Bull but it was very different from the pastries I've seen online by that name. His pastry was about 6-7" in diameter and about 2" thick and very dense. The main portion seemed like a dense yellow or pound cake and it was encircled by a ring or flaky pastry. Do you know what this is and can you provide the recipe? Thank you kindly. Cheers!"
So after a bit of research, and with help from the hubby, we found the answer. And now I want to eat one!
Here is the answer:
"Ojo De Buey: round shaped pastry with thin flakey pastry dough surrounding a soft yellow cake in the middle."
And here is what it looks like (bottom row, second from left):
